Jyhjong Hwang
I am PhD candidate in Political Science at The Ohio State University. My research explores how domestic institutions and incentives shapes the politics of foreign aid and development cooperation, with a regional focus foreign aid competition in Africa. I teach courses in human security and China-Africa relations.Â
I was previously a Pre-doctoral Research Fellow at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center, and a Senior Research Assistant at China-Africa Research Initiative at Johns Hopkins SAIS.
